Belfast can be a small town at the best of times. When David J McMillan cooked up the idea of a monthly networking evening for local illustrators, the numbers grew to the most recent one hosted and organised by myself and Mel Carroll at the UsFolk studios.

Turns out there is a huge amount of freelance illustrators in Northern Ireland who just really haven't been all that aware of one another. This evening was a great chance to network, chat and draw; expanding the UsFolk illustration co-operative idea.
